FAQ
WHAT ARE COMPRESSION GARMENTS?
Compression garments are designed to help improve performance and reduce recovery time. They improve blood circulation to provide more efficient blood return to filter toxins released by muscles during exercise (lactic acid) and provide better oxygenation to the muscles.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT COMPRESSION GARMENTS?
Measuring every part of your body that's covered by the compression garment is essential. Going down a size will prevent you from experiencing too much compression, and conversely, going up a size will still provide enough compression to feel the effects.

CAN COMPRESSION GARMENTS PREVENT INJURIES?
While we don't say that compression garments can directly prevent injury, we can say that many people who have worn our compression garments over a long period of time have indeed noticed a reduction in injuries such as: muscle strains, cramps, muscle tears, muscle aches, etc. The muscle alignment provided by EC3D compression garments, the improvement in blood circulation and the muscle support provided by compression are all responsible for the differences experienced by athletes.
I often get cramps during training, can this help?
Yes, thanks to improved blood circulation, toxins in the muscles that cause cramps are filtered out more quickly. Studies have shown a 29% decrease in lactic acid in the blood when wearing compression garments.
THE FABRIC FEELS THICK: IS IT WARMER?
On the contrary! The materials used – polyester and elastane (LYCRA® Invista) – are made of microfibers that absorb three times less water than nylon: you stay cool in summer and warm in winter, because dry clothing remains comfortable.
WHAT IS THE CORRECT TECHNIQUE FOR PUTTING ON COMPRESSION GARMENTS?
Compression garments are generally put on like a wetsuit or nylon stocking. Ideally, form a donut with the material and slowly pull upwards, taking care to position the woven areas on the muscles. WHAT SIZE SHOULD I GET IF MY MEASUREMENTS ARE IN 2-3 DIFFERENT SIZES? Measuring each part of the body that is covered by the compression garment is essential. For example, for shorts, you should measure the circumference of the thighs, hips, and waist. The largest measurement of these three measurements should prevail. When the measurements overlap, you are at the largest size of one size and the smallest of another. We recommend that you take the largest measurement. Between each size of garment there is a 2 to 3 mmHg difference in compression. This means that even if you choose a smaller size, you will not have too much compression, and conversely, you will still have enough compression to feel the effects if you choose a larger size. Of course, it is always a question of personal comfort.
